The R90S was the most expensive motorcycle of it's day (1973-1976) and is one of the most handsome models ever produced by BMW. It used a 1970s
version of the company's iconic 'Boxer' flat twin twin engine, a configuration that had first been used by them in 1923 and is still seen in their modern
motorcycles, for example the retro styled BMW R nineT.
