[art #475]. Limited Edition Print by Steve Dunn.

The Norton Commando 750 Production Racer, produced between 1970 and 1972, is a rare and highly sought-after machine, often referred to as the "Yellow Peril" due to its striking yellow paintwork. Designed specifically for racing, this model was built in limited numbers and featured a tuned version of the 745cc parallel-twin engine, delivering increased power and performance. The Production Racer was equipped with upgraded components, including a lightweight fibreglass tank and fairing, rear-set foot-pegs, clip-on handlebars, and racing-spec suspension, all of which contributed to its formidable track capabilities. The engine produced around 60 horsepower, and with its reduced weight, the bike could reach speeds in excess of 120mph. The bold yellow colour, combined with its minimalist design and racing focus, made the Production Racer a standout on the track and a dream machine for serious racers of the time. The Norton Commando 750 Production Racer remains a highly prized collector's item, celebrated for its racing pedigree, distinctive style, and the raw, unfiltered performance it offers.
