[art #461]. Limited Edition Print by Steve Dunn.

The 1989 Suzuki GSX-R750RK, also known as the "Limited Edition," is a rare and highly coveted motorcycle that represents the pinnacle of Suzuki's racing technology of the late 1980s. Designed to meet homologation requirements for the Superbike World Championship, the GSX-R750RK was a special, race-oriented version of the already formidable GSX-R750. Powered by a 749cc inline-four engine with a higher compression ratio, larger carburettors, and an upgraded exhaust system, the RK produced more power and offered a sharper, more focused performance than the standard model. The bike featured a lightweight, reinforced aluminum frame, fully adjustable suspension, and advanced braking components, all designed to deliver maximum performance on the track. The RK's aggressive styling, with its distinctive blue and white livery, single-seat tail unit, and special graphics, highlighted its racing intent. Only a limited number of these bikes were produced, making the 1989 Suzuki GSX-R750RK a highly sought-after collector's item, revered for its exclusivity, engineering excellence, and its role in Suzuki's racing legacy.
