The 1980 Yamaha RD350LC here with blue stripes took the concept of the RD250LC and turned up the performance dial, creating a motorcycle that became legendary in its own right. Powered by a 347cc liquid-cooled, two-stroke parallel-twin engine, the RD350LC produced around 47 bhp, making it a formidable machine with a top speed exceeding 110mph. The liquid cooling and Yamaha's Monocross rear suspension system brought advanced technology to the mass market, offering a high level of performance at an accessible price. The RD350LC's lightweight and agile chassis made it a joy to ride on twisty roads, where its handling prowess could truly shine. The bike's aggressive styling, complete with a full fairing, twin disc brakes, and distinctive graphics, made it an icon of the early 1980s. The 1980 Yamaha RD350LC is celebrated for its thrilling performance, cutting-edge technology, and its status as one of the most revered two-strokes of all time.
